Many Parts, One Body is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to serving free meals to folks in need in our community.
At Many Parts, One Body, we believe in a simple yet profound concept: we are all connected, each of us a vital part of a greater whole. Inspired by the Apostle Paul in his letter to the Corinthians, we believe that all of us make up many parts of a single body in Christ. This isn’t just the basis for our mission, it is the driving force behind everything we do.
1 Corinthians 12:12 "For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ."
Many Parts, One Body is a tax-deductible, 501(c)(3) charitable organization that collects donations and provides free meals to those in need. Our mission is to bring the community together and support those facing hardship. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have been able to serve free meals to homeless populations, foster care facilities, shelters for single moms, Ronald McDonald House, struggling families in local school districts, and more. By donating time or resources, you can make a real difference in the lives of those we serve.
Your financial support will allow us to buy food to prepare for those in need. In 2025 our goal is to raise $50,000 and serve over 4,000 meals to the most vulnerable members of our community and folks with a similar mission. Every donation, no matter how small, helps us get closer to that goal.

Right now we are currently focusing our attention on the greater Kansas City Metro area and the greater Jackson County areas. We hope to expand our mission to SE Kansas and Southern Missouri beginning in 2026.
Our main goal is and always will be to provide good food to those in need in our community completely free of charge. We will regularly serve with homeless shelters, foster care centers, shelters for mothers and children, and other services caring for the most vulnerable members of our society. We also provide sponsored, catered meals to organizations who are raising money for similar missions. For example, the Missouri Disabled Sportsmen hold a fundraiser every August that we provided BBQ for this year. Instead of MDS spending $2,500 on catering for their event, we were able to provide pulled pork for everybody for free, allowing MDS to refocus the $2,500 they would have spent on food back to the children and veterans they serve as a part of their mission. All catered events are individually sponsored.
Check out the "Individual Meal Assistance" section of the website above for a Google Form link that you can fill out online to request meal assistance.
We currently focus our attention on food and meal assistance, but we frequently partner with another local nonprofit organization called "K'ing the Cold" that works to distribute cold weather items to folks in need. You can find their Facebook page and contact information using this link here.
